Cosmetic Moxa Roller Therapy is one of the unique technique I use with my facial rejuvenation patients. This techniques are not used in any clinic in the United States except those of my students I teach who adds it into their own clinic.
The concept of using moxa herbal heat is very similar to Guasha therapy except you have the benefits of the actual heat enforcing the blood flow and ironing the wrinkle area.
This ancient method of promoting "qi" or bioelectric vital life energy and blood circulation as well as the removal of toxic heat, stagnant blood and lymph fluid from the body is an extremely important, almost miraculous method of improving one's health. "Qi" is the constant and vigorous movement of energy or life force that keeps us healthy and alive.
The method of applying moxa roller therapy involves the layering of herbal essential oil of your choice or what ever fits your patients skin, (in my clinic I use special herbal mask) on the skin. This oil is enhanced either with healing herbs or essential oils chosen to aid the extraction of toxic waste. The skin is then rolled back and forth motion in the area where you want to concentrate on your patients face or other parts of the body.
This cosmetic moxa roller tool are not specifically for just Facial Rejuvenation clientelle, but also used on any other parts of the body. Good thing about this roller that the patient can also purchase it and with some basic safety instruction from you, they can apply it on their own with herbal mask or essential oil that fits their skin type to keep rejuvenating their face when they are not visiting your clinic.
